The touring screen is generally longer, and sometimes wider than the original screen, to better protect the rider from wind and weather. Depending on the angle of the screen, in some models the rear edge of the screen is also tilted upwards as a wind deflector across the entire width. This makes riding more comfortable even on longer trips.
