Manufactured using the latest production methods, the ZEGA Mundo is a simple, robust, and aesthetically pleasing aluminum case that handles all applications from everyday use to adventure with ease. The almost indestructible body made of 1.5 millimeter thick aluminum sheet is specially riveted to ensure maximum strength. With the integrated, generously sized sealing tape and the specially shaped profile at the top edge of the case body, the ZEGA Mundo is absolutely waterproof and torsion-resistant. The extensive ZEGA accessory range transforms the Mundo into an individual transport system for extreme use.

The ZEGA Mundo continues the tradition of the legendary ZEGA Case. A simple, robust, and aesthetically pleasing aluminum case that handles all applications from everyday use to adventure with ease.
In developing the ZEGA Mundo, the focus was one hundred percent on pure functionality. Practicality, robustness, and technically clear design are combined in this aluminum case.
To achieve a connection with maximum strength, the indestructible body made of 1.5 millimeter thick aluminum sheet is connected to the one-piece aluminum base with special rivets. This concept also provides the case with a significant increase in stiffness. Furthermore, an integrated, extra generously sized sealing tape ensures optimal sealing of the seam.
The same applies to the specially shaped profile that forms the upper closure of the case body. It stiffens the case and, with the integrated sealing lip that fits snugly into the profile of the lid, ensures a weatherproof closure.
The construction method and material choice combine the experiences from over two decades of adventure and expedition travel on the toughest tracks in the world. The materials withstand hours and days of vibrations on corrugated roads as well as peak loads that occur when quickly traversing deep ground waves. The high elongation and penetration resistance of the material ensure maximum durability when coming into contact with obstacles or, in the worst case, during a fall.
Manufactured at the Niedereschach location, the Mundo benefits from the advanced technologies also used in the production of the ZEGA Pro and ZEGA Pro2 variants. The precision of computer-controlled machines complements the profound know-how of intensively trained skilled workers.
Like the other cases in the ZEGA family, the Mundo is also equipped with high-quality, lockable stainless steel fittings. These not only allow for complete removal of the lid but can also serve as hinges, allowing the case lid to open either forward or backward as needed.
The case is mounted using the proven system from Touratech on the model-specific, off-road stable carriers made of 18x2 steel tubing. The large, once knurled mounting nuts inside the case are now ergonomically shaped in the ZEGA Mundo to enable even easier handling. The quick assembly and absolutely play-free fit even after thousands of off-road kilometers have made this system the first choice in the long-distance travel scene.
But the new ZEGA Mundo can do much more than just reliably transport luggage from A to B. The extensive ZEGA accessory range also makes the Mundo an individual transport system.
Three sizes are available for the ZEGA Mundo with volumes of 31, 38, or 45 liters. And last but not least, the Mundo, in its unembellished elegance, is also a timeless, beautifully crafted piece of European craftsmanship.
