The Touratech Suspension Plug & Travel DSA EVO UP is a cost-effective and effective upgrade for the rear shock absorber of the BMW R1200GS / R1250GS with BMW Dynamic ESA. The clever part: The original electronic spring preload (EPA) and the spring are still used. Only the electronic damper is replaced with a high-quality component from Touratech Suspension.

Another advantage of this clever suspension tuning is that the front Dynamic ESA shock absorber from BMW can be retained. If necessary, it can be replaced later with the Touratech Suspension Plug & Travel EVO shock absorber.

The upgrade is the ideal alternative as a replacement for worn or defective original damper units or as a dynamic driving upgrade for more comfort and riding pleasure. In terms of ride comfort, reserves under load, and driving safety, we get the maximum out of the rear shock absorber of your GS with this electronic damper element.

The semi-active shock absorber remains fully integrated into the motorcycle after the conversion and processes the data from the Central Function Unit (ZFE) directly. A complicated calibration of the electronics is not required. Operation is as usual via the standard switch units.

The progressive end stop gently slows down extreme compression movements for maximum comfort.

Best durability thanks to minimal tolerances characterizes the high-quality uniball bearings. Their rubber seals are particularly pressure-resistant and effectively keep dirt and water out.
