This premium shock absorber is consistently designed for long-distance travel with heavy luggage, on any type of road surface, including off-road stages. This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorber is simply swapped for the BMW DDC shock absorber. The existing connectors and switches on the handlebars are used as usual. This Touratech Suspension lowering is perfectly integrated into the motorcycle via the original BMW control unit. This allows you to continue using configurations in the BMW display for different riding modes and load adjustments. The Touratech suspension adapts to your adventure. You just have to ride off. This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorber is made with the same precision components and parts that have already proven themselves over thousands of travel kilometers under the toughest conditions in our shock absorbers. The heart of this shock absorber is the DDA high-performance valve developed and patented by Tractive. This allows the damping to be adjusted in fractions of a second to any driving situation. For the high loads during long-distance travel, our shock absorbers have larger piston diameters and thus more oil volume. This results in better cooling at high damping frequencies. The shock absorber and damping are therefore more stable, and the seals are less stressed.
Important note:
- When lowering by -25mm, both the rear and front areas must be modified together.

Note:
For the safe stand of your BMW F850GS after lowering, we recommend a shortened side stand and/or optionally a shortened center stand.
The basic setup installed here is tuned for riders up to 100 kg including travel luggage. Adjustments for much higher loads or other extraordinary requirements are possible. The shock absorber will then be individually adjusted to your needs by us with a spring of higher spring rate. Please use our suspension check form and send us the
