Touratech Suspension Lowering (-50mm) Rear BMW R1200GS (2004-2012) Type *Level1*

This shock absorber is perfect for reducing the seat height (-5cm) for the BMW R1200GS. At the same time, your BMW R1200GS remains well-tuned and very suitable for touring. The shock absorber of type Level1 offers a large adjustment range and high reserves for the demands of motorcycle travel. The performance of the shock absorber allows for precise adjustment of your motorcycle's balance. In the front area of the BMW R1200GS, the appropriate shock absorber (see important notes shortly) must be installed for balance. The spring preload can be adjusted with a tool to accommodate the large travel luggage. The damping adjustment of this Level1 shock absorber allows for the necessary influence on the rebound and compression stages to meet your individual requirements for riding comfort.

=> The shock absorber is configured based on our experiences for the BMW R1200GS and is ready to ride.
=> Parameters include: vehicle weight / linkage of the shock absorber / structural conditions / test rides.
=> The shock absorber mentioned here is designed for a rider weight of up to 100kg including travel luggage.
=> For all suspension solutions, both the rear and front areas of the motorcycle should be adjusted.
=> The suitable component for the front of the BMW R1200GS is:

=> When replacing only one component, no lowering of the motorcycle can be achieved.



Note:
For the safe stand of your BMW R1200GS after lowering, we recommend the shortened side stand
and/or optionally the main stand from BMW. These components can be obtained from your BMW dealer.

If you have installed a larger tank than the original tank on your motorcycle or made modifications for additional
