This shock absorber has been specifically configured for the Telelever front wheel guidance and to reduce the seat height (-5cm) of the BMW R1200GS. The strengths of the Telelever system* are supported by the fine responsiveness of the Touratech shock absorber. The large adjustment range allows you to adapt the front of the motorcycle to the demands of motorcycle travel. The performance of the shock absorber enables precise adjustment of your motorcycle's balance. At the rear of the BMW R1200GS, the appropriate shock absorber must be installed for compensation (see important notes shortly). The damping adjustment of this Level1 shock absorber allows the necessary influence on the rebound and compression stages to implement your individual requirements for riding comfort.

=> Parameters are: vehicle weight / linkage of the shock absorber / structural conditions / test rides.
=> The shock absorber mentioned here is designed for almost all possible loading conditions of the motorcycle front.
=> Only with significantly higher weight at the front (modifications / conversions) is a higher spring rate sensible.

For the safe stand of your BMW R1200GS after lowering, we recommend the shortened side stand
and/or optionally the main stand from BMW. You can obtain these components from your BMW dealer.
The configured Level1 shock absorber with its adjustment options is very well suited for this motorcycle type. The suspension only needs to be adjusted once for the entire suspension setup.
With a full/empty tank or tank bag, no adjustments are necessary on the go due to the interaction of the shock absorber with
the BMW Telelever.
