Touratech Suspension Lowering -25mm Cartridge Kit for Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin from 2018

This Cartridge Kit Extreme is perfect for reducing the seat height (-25mm) on the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin. The Cartridge KIT is simply put a shock absorber for the fork and represents the absolute premium class in terms of suspension technology. The Closed Cartridge is installed in the original fork. This way, the fork bridge, handlebar mount, brakes, and wheel guidance and steering geometry remain fully intact. No additional modifications to the fork are required. This Closed Cartridge is designed for touring and riding operations with frequently and heavily changing loads and riding conditions or extreme demands.

This means for you:

Any luggage volume from the tail bag to the loaded luggage system and/or passenger operation is accommodated by the Extreme adjustment range. The spring preload, rebound, and compression damping are fully adjustable from the top. The damping oil is contained in a closed cartridge, allowing for precise dosing of the oil quantity. This results in the Closed Cartridge offering a significantly finer and more pleasant response behavior of the fork. The very finely adjustable damping allows for an effective, precise, and personalized suspension setup for any road condition and purpose, whether on highways, federal roads, small country roads, off-road sections, long-distance travel with large luggage, or a sporty, ambitious riding style. Should exceptionally severe road conditions affect the front wheel, the integrated "Hydraulic Endstop" prevents mechanical bottoming out of the fork.

Note:

For the safe stand of your Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin after lowering, we recommend shortening the side stand.

The basic setup is tailored for the demanding adventure rider with luggage.

Adjustments for exceptional requirements are possible. The shock absorber will then be individually adapted to your needs by us with a spring of the appropriate spring rate and further configurations.
