Touratech Suspension Chassis Set DDA / Plug & Travel for BMW R1200GS / R1250GS Adventure from 2017

The Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel Suspension is the absolute top class in suspension technology for your BMW R1200GS/R1250GS equipped with BMW DDC auto-leveling. This premium suspension is specifically designed for long-distance travel with heavy luggage, on any type of road surface, including off-road stages designed. The Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorbers are simply swapped for the BMW DDC suspension. The existing connectors and switches on the handlebars are utilized. Thus, the Touratech suspension is integrated into the motorcycle via the original BMW control unit. You can continue to use all standard pre-settings for the various riding modes and load adjustments. The Touratech suspension adapts to your adventure. You just need to ride.

This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel Suspension is manufactured with the same precision components and parts that have proven themselves over thousands of travel kilometers, under the toughest conditions in our shock absorbers. The heart of this suspension is the DDA high-performance valve developed and patented by Tractive. This allows the damping to be adjusted in fractions of a second to any driving situation. For the high loads during long-distance travel, our shock absorbers have larger piston diameters and thus more oil volume. This results in better cooling at high damping frequencies. The shock absorber and damping are therefore more stable, and the seals are less stressed.

The basic setup provided here is tuned for riders up to 100 kg plus travel luggage. Adjustments for much higher loads or other exceptional requirements are possible. The shock absorber will then be individually adjusted to your needs by us with a spring of higher spring rate.
