Touratech Suspension Cartridge Kit Extreme for Triumph Tiger Explorer from 2012

The Touratech Suspension Cartridge Kit Extreme is simply put a shock absorber for the fork and the absolute premium class in terms of suspension technology. The Closed Cartridge is installed in the original fork. This way, the fork bridge/handlebar mount, brakes, wheel guidance, and steering geometry remain fully intact. No additional modifications to the fork are required.
This Close Cartridge is perfectly designed for touring and riding operations with frequently and heavily changing loads and riding conditions or extreme demands.


This means for you:
Any luggage volume from the tail bag to the loaded luggage system and/or passenger operation is accommodated by the Extreme adjustment range. The spring preload, rebound, and compression damping are fully adjustable from the top. The damping oil is in a closed cartridge, allowing for precise dosing of the oil quantity. This results in the Close Cartridge offering a significantly finer and more pleasant response of the fork. The very finely adjustable damping allows for an effective, precise, and personalized suspension setting for any road condition and purpose, whether on highways, federal roads, small country roads, off-road sections, long-distance travel with large luggage, or a sporty, ambitious riding style. Should exceptionally harsh road conditions affect the front wheel, the integrated "Hydraulic Endstop" prevents mechanical bottoming out of the fork.

Features of the Touratech Suspension Close Cartridges:
- The Closed Cartridge is installed in the original fork. This way, the fork bridge/handlebar mount
brakes, wheel guidance, and steering geometry remain fully intact.
- No additional modifications to the fork are required.
- A Closed Cartridge is an Extreme shock absorber in the fork.
- Fully adjustable spring preload from the top (with adjustment tool included) in both fork legs for optimal balance of the motorcycle. 20mm over 12 clicks.
- Separately adjustable rebound damping 20 clicks (1 fork leg).
- Compression damping 20 clicks (1 fork leg) damping.
- For precise damping adjustment at very high damping frequency and high load (bad roads, tracks with luggage).
- High damping stability and robustness due to a built-in 35 mm piston.
- Closed design (Closed Cartridge) thus closed oil cartridge for damping
and the oil in the fork for pure lubrication.
- Damping oil (cartridge) and nitrogen, in a nitrogen bubble at the foot of the cartridge,
- Very fine response behavior with simultaneously extremely high stability and stability of the fork.
- Due to the separation of oil and nitrogen, no foaming and no stick-slip in the fork.
- This means reproducible damping performance at all times, even under the most extreme demands.
- This fork does not bottom out. Each cartridge has a "Hydraulic endstop" against bottoming out.

The basic setup is tuned for the demanding adventure rider with luggage.
Adjustments for exceptional requirements are possible. The shock absorber will then be individually adjusted to your needs by us with a spring of the appropriate spring rate and further configurations.
