This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorber is the absolute top class in suspension technology for your BMW R1200GS/R1250GS Adventure with DDC autoleveling equipment. This premium shock absorber is specifically designed for long-distance travel with heavy luggage, on any road surface, including off-road stages . This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorber is simply swapped for the BMW DDC shock absorber. The existing connectors and switches on the handlebars are used as usual. Thus, this shock absorber is integrated into the motorcycle via the original BMW control unit. This shock absorber can be used in combination with the original BMW front shock absorber. The Touratech suspension adapts to your adventure. You just need to ride.

This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorber is manufactured with the same precision components and parts that have proven themselves over thousands of travel kilometers, under the toughest conditions in our shock absorbers. The heart of this shock absorber is the DDA high-performance valve developed and patented by Tractive. This allows the damping to be adjusted in fractions of a second to any driving situation. For the high loads during long-distance travel, our shock absorbers have larger piston diameters and thus more oil volume. This results in better cooling at high damping frequencies. The shock absorber and damping are therefore more stable, and the seals are less stressed.

Important Note:

- We recommend replacing the rear and front shock absorbers together with this suspension solution.

- Only then can the best possible handling be achieved with this premium suspension.

The basic setup installed here is tuned for riders up to 100 kg including travel luggage. Adjustments for much higher loads or other exceptional requirements are possible. The shock absorber will then be individually adjusted to your needs by us with a spring of higher spring rate.
