The RALLYE engine guard is designed as a complete protection from the headers to the catalytic converter of your R1250GS. It fits all R1250GS and Adventure models. In the development, we also focused on compatibility with original BMW and Touratech crash bars. Thanks to innovative manufacturing technology, it comes without disruptive weld seams, which are often perceived as weak points.
The unique shape of the 4 mm thick aluminum part guarantees effective protection, high stability, and gives your GS a sporty-modern look. Like a protective shell, the RALLYE engine guard surrounds your headers to protect them as best as possible from all sides. It hugs the body of your BMW, ensuring maximum ground clearance. The organically rounded shapes effectively dissipate energy upon impact. It also prevents jamming or snagging. Direct impacts are compensated by the additional stainless steel plate inside. Since the RALLYE engine guard extends behind the main stand of your GS, even the catalytic converter is effectively protected. Details such as chamfered edges protect the screw heads in tough off-road use.
By using internal hex screws, the installation/removal of the engine guard during the maintenance of your GS is child's play.
