The Touratech crash bar extension made of stainless steel provides assistance when the original crash bar of the R 1200 GS Adventure is no longer sufficient. And that can happen faster than one would like. Specifically, when the motorcycle tips over beyond the crash bar, potentially damaging fairing parts or even the sensitive aluminum tank. This can not only be costly but, in the worst case, abruptly end a beautiful journey.
The crash bar extension made of robust, electropolished stainless steel is easy to maintain and resistant to rust. The clever four-point bolting distributes forces occurring during a fall or impact across the frame, causing minimal damage. Even deep scratches can be easily polished out.
