Concept:
The Compañero Rambler is an absolutely waterproof, breathable all-season touring suit for the highest demands, made from the highest quality Gore Tex 3-layer laminate. The quality and thoughtful construction, as well as the use of the best materials, ensure an extremely wide range of applications. The Touratech Compañero Rambler was developed in collaboration with the renowned motorcycle clothing manufacturer REV'IT!.
From temperatures near freezing to tropical conditions, you will be comfortable and safe on the road. Extensive and innovative ventilation elements on one hand and the warming, absolutely windproof outer layer on the other are complemented by a fully functional leisure jacket as an inner lining.
The fit is perfect for sporty, active riders and is ideal for fast highway stretches or off-road riding on remote trails.

Comfort:
Climate Control
Particular attention is paid to the ventilation function of the REV'IT! patented VCS AQUADEFENSE system (EU patent EP 2574249, US patent US 13/630.520), which is integrated into both the jacket and pants. This system consists of flap openings that, when needed, provide large ventilation areas and are held open without flapping by FIDLOCK magnetic closures, allowing for direct ventilation of the body. The special magnets ensure absolute secure hold and can be operated with one hand. When closed, the AQUADEFENSE system is 100% wind and waterproof!
The large VCS (Ventilation Control System) front ventilation consists of a 3 cm wide ventilation gap and a double zipper that determines the amount of cooling air depending on the opening height of the outer zipper. The jacket remains securely closed over the second zipper. The outer zipper from the high-quality brand TIZIP guarantees absolute wind and waterproofness when closed!
All VCS ventilations are backed with a three-dimensional BALLISTIC MESH mesh fabric.
Two waterproof ventilation zippers ensure ventilation of the upper arms, while two carefully positioned exhaust zippers on the back guarantee the necessary airflow.

Leisure and Inner Jacket
On cold days, the windproof, water-repellent, and highly breathable leisure and inner jacket made from HYDRATEX® Windbarrier®, a 3-layer laminate with a super soft inner side, membrane, and RIPSTOP outer material, comes into play, which is zipped into the motorcycle jacket. It thus forms the perfect warming inner lining.
At the same time, the warm, lightweight inner jacket functions as a sportily cut, comfortably wearable leisure jacket with high functionality, featuring three zippered outer pockets and a small pack size.

Ergonomics and Fit
The entire suit is as light as possible while adhering to the testing regulations for protective clothing. This preserves stamina and, not least, concentration while riding.
To further enhance riding comfort, the perfect cut is complemented by integrated stretch zones at the knees, waist, and seat for a comfortable fit and additional freedom of movement. Optimally positioned compression straps, infinitely and individually adjustable at the chest, back, calf, and forearm, are equipped with adjustment ranges and are easy to operate.

The Touratech Compañero Rambler features a comprehensive set of protectors, including certified back, shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee protectors. All protectors are positioned where they can truly protect, even with fully opened ventilations. Elbow and knee protectors can be adjusted to different heights. The back protector is housed in a pocket made of open-pore 3D mesh fabric. This supports the transport of water vapor and further improves breathability and ventilation.

The thoughtful details of the jacket, such as the separation of the width adjustment of the sleeve at the wrist from the opening zipper, make it easier to put on and take off. The zippers at the jacket hem release stretch zones and thus provide maximum freedom of movement and seating comfort. The soft collar finish with a concealed zipper approach is comfortable.
The integrated, removable kidney belt with a small zippered pocket stabilizes and supports the lower back and provides a secure place for credit cards or coins, which can be invisibly stowed in the jacket lining when not in use.

Storm Collar
The high-cut, adjustable, fully removable, or foldable storm collar made from GORE TEX Pro 3-layer laminate is 100% wind and waterproof. The chin area is made of soft, skin-friendly neoprene.
 
Quality:
The extensively used GORE TEX Pro 3-layer laminate in the Compañero Rambler, with reinforcements in the impact areas and reflective material on the upper body and legs, was developed for riding under extreme conditions. The membrane is laminated between the durable outer layer and a robust inner material, providing an incredible 28,000 millimeters of water column for ultimate waterproofness without soaking through. This accelerates drying, prevents evaporative cooling, and allows the beading water droplets to be blown away by the wind.
The impact-prone areas are particularly resistant due to ARMACOR material, an extremely tear and abrasion-resistant synthetic material reinforced with KEVLAR threads from GORE.
The 3M SCOTCHLITE reflective material sends incoming light tightly bundled back towards the light source through extremely high retroreflective values, resulting in significantly better visibility at dusk and darkness.
Zippers from market leaders YKK and TIZIP, as well as magnetic closures from FIDLOCK, demonstrate the use of the very best materials.

SEESOFT
The highly impact-resistant mixture of multi-layer nitrile polymers and poly-norbornene rubber for the flexible back protector application forms a memory foam that withstands multiple impacts in succession without compromising comfort, ventilation, or freedom of movement.
In the event of a serious impact, the impact energy is distributed through the deformation of the individual layers of the memory foam, minimizing the force applied to the back and spine.

SEEFLEX
The SEEFLEX™ concept is a unique new technology made from hyper-modern materials and innovative construction that provides protectors with protection, flexibility, and breathability, passing the most stringent impact tests according to EN 1621-1:2012 CE-Level 2 under all circumstances and temperatures.

SEESMART
SEESMART™ protectors, due to their flat design, follow human anatomy, expand upon impact, and absorb energy through the many hexagonal nodules. They offer a high degree of flexibility and meet all impact tests according to EN 1621-1:2012.

Processing
With tested protectors and a suit certified according to EN 17092-3:2020, the Compañero Rambler meets personal protective equipment for motorcyclists of class "AA," where all components and materials of the suit, from the fabrics used to the sewing thread, are constantly tested.
