BMW has been using water cooling for new boxer engines since 2013. This allows for optimal performance combined with high durability. Technically implemented perfectly, the system has only one weak point: the sensitive water cooler.
The Touratech radiator guard protects the vulnerable fins of the cooler from damage, providing a significant increase in safety!
