The handlebar adapter for the 28mm handlebar improves your sitting position by an optimal 50mm. The handlebar comes 50mm higher and closer to the rider.
This allows you to achieve a natural ergonomics for a healthier sitting position.
You will clearly feel this advantage. No more tense, outstretched arms. You simply sit comfortably on your motorcycle.
The conversion is quick and easy to implement:
Remove the existing handlebar clamps - please ensure that the reservoirs for brake and clutch fluid do not tip over too much! - and insert the lower part of the handlebar adapter. A brake line extension is screwed onto the brake line. For models up to and including the year 2011, there is a tab for the brake line distributor, and from the year 2012 onwards, it is a line. Now just place the handlebar in the new mounts and secure it with the original handlebar clamps. All necessary screws and accessories are included with the conversion.
In general, it is sufficient for your BMW F800GS to route the cables and lines behind the fork bridge.
