Our side covers fill two unsightly gaps in the rear area of the R1200GS and are not only visually appealing and perfectly shaped, but also practical!

Experience over many years has shown that protecting the painted frame tubes in the boot area is absolutely necessary.

Side Covers:
The covers made from a mix of plastic and stainless steel are easy to install and protect the sensitive mechanics of the spring travel sensor just as perfectly as all components of the Dynamic ESA and the rear shock absorber.

Not every GS rider appreciates the unobstructed view of hard-to-clean components in the rear area of the chassis, which is why our side covers not only protect against splash water on the road and kicked-up dirt during off-road rides, but also feature a smooth, easy-to-clean surface where dirt cannot settle!

The visually two-part side cover is connected by an anodized, high-quality laser-engraved stainless steel part to form a perfect and easily removable unit. This also reduces the risk of getting caught with your boot on the vehicle frame, preventing any equipment from unintentionally snagging on the vehicle.

Frame Protection:
Unfortunately, the paint in this area is not able to withstand the normal stresses encountered during touring and with street boots. Frequent standing while riding, using enduro boots, or off-road use can quickly make the frame unsightly as the paint wears off, leaving the unprotected frame tubes exposed to all destructive influences.
