Made from 3mm thick aluminum and attached at the designated points, the Touratech cylinder protection for the water-cooled R1200GS withstands "tip-overs" as well as stronger "impacts." Scratched valve covers or even holes in them are a thing of the past.
Tested, among other places, in Madagascar, the protection has reliably proven its performance.
