Engine Guard
The particularly sturdy design of the engine guard provides excellent protection for valuable components even off the road, thanks to a wall thickness of five millimeters on the underside and a particularly large protective area. An additional contact point on the frame, an innovation from SW-MOTECH, distributes the forces acting upon contact with the ground not only to the mounting points but also to the steel frame of the Africa Twin.
- For replacing the original engine guard from Honda with a wall thickness of 2.5 millimeters
- Protects the underside and parts of the manifold and exhaust from stone impacts and collisions
- More robust due to five millimeter thick sheet made of high-strength aluminum alloy in the lower area, four millimeter wall thickness on the sides
- The engine guard from SW-MOTECH stands out due to its particularly long and laterally high-cut contour, providing a particularly large protective area
- In contrast to the significantly smaller original engine guard, this one also protects parts of the manifold and exhaust
- Elements made of 8 millimeter thick hard rubber additionally dampen the forces acting and distribute them across all contact points
- Two cutouts at the bottom allow access to both oil drain screws - therefore, removing the engine guard is not necessary for draining the engine oil
- Cutouts on the sides ensure ventilation, weight reduction, and emphasize the bike's look
- Compatible with the original side stand from Honda or the main stand from SW-MOTECH (see accessories)
- Compatible with all equipment variants of the Honda CRF 1000L Africa Twin (Standard / ABS / DCT), except for the DCT version with gear lever
