During normal riding, the suspension filters out annoying vibrations and increases long-distance comfort. When the rider steps off the road onto the footpegs, the footplates fully compress and reveal a serrated outer contour that provides additional grip when standing and allows for even better control of the machine in rough terrain. Additionally, the height of the footpegs can be adjusted in three positions to accommodate different rider statures or preferences. Position 1 corresponds to the standard, while the other two positions lower the footpegs. Compared to the standard, the surface area of the rider footpegs is wider and longer. Furthermore, the footpegs feature a replaceable plastic slider.
