The Touratech Suspension PRO shock absorber for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid focuses on top performance under extreme conditions. The innovative design of the damper piston allows for optimized oil flow behavior. Even at the highest damping frequencies, such as those encountered during fast off-road riding, the formation of oil foam is prevented. This ensures that the damping behavior of the Touratech Suspension PRO shock absorber remains completely consistent across a vast load spectrum. Additionally, the new low friction seal on the massive 16 mm piston rod has extremely low friction values, resulting in an exceptionally low breakaway torque and sensitive response. Annoying stiction, also known as the slip-stick effect, is foreign to the PRO dampers. These features guarantee the best traction, stability, and comfort under all conditions.

Easy situational adjustment of setup and balance

For easy and quick adjustment of the motorcycle balance to the respective load condition – solo rides or two-up touring with a lot of luggage – the particularly robust “PRO Preload Adjuster” ensures this. The preload of the spring can be easily adjusted over a large adjustment range with relatively low operating pressure using the large, grippy handwheel.

Damping

In line with the easy spring preload adjustment, this high-end shock absorber features the finest rebound adjustment ever realized in a motorcycle shock absorber. The precise tuning ensures optimal tire contact with the ground without unpleasant bottoming out or sinking of the rear. This guarantees maximum riding dynamics and the highest safety.

The compression damping can be adjusted over a wide range. Even less experienced users can achieve individual, reproducible setups considering high- and low-speed damping without tools.

Serviceable Long Live components
