The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part is made entirely from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and, as is customary with us, is coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences in the next step.
