Due to different measuring and production methods used by belt manufacturers, there are varying length specifications across different brands.

However, these differences do not affect the functionality of the belts.

Different industrial standards utilize various parameters to determine length specifications.

These include external length (Length external, abbreviated as Le), internal length (Length internal, abbreviated as Li), and effective length.

The effective length refers to the length measurement at approximately 3/4 height of the belt according to DIN 2215.

Furthermore, for reliable length measurement, the belt tension specified by the vehicle manufacturer must also be taken into account, as this is an important factor in the production process.

Due to these different measuring methods, there can be various belt dimensions from different manufacturers for the same vehicle.
