TRACKING RIDES ON GROUP TOURS
The included Group Ride Tracker allows for group tracking of up to 20 riders without cellular reception. Plus, you can easily stay in touch with your Group Ride friends thanks to location sharing and predefined messages.

RESILIENT OFF-ROAD
The Tread, designed for off-road use, can handle any weather. The device is water-resistant according to IP67 and has been built to US military standard 810G for thermal performance and shock resistance.

EASY-TO-READ DISPLAY
The 8" bright touchscreen of the GPS is operable with gloves and is easily readable in bright sunlight or complete darkness. The device can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation.

TRAIL NAVIGATION
Utilize trail navigation with turn-by-turn directions for riding on unpaved roads and paths. It uses map content for off-road routes and trails from OSM.

INTEGRATED INREACH TECHNOLOGY
The integrated inReach technology enables global satellite communication, two-way messaging, location sharing, interactive SOS alerts, and weather updates.

ROAD AND OFF-ROAD MAPS
The Tread offers pre-installed topographic maps with 3D terrain as well as road maps for Europe, Africa (including Tracks4Africa), and the Middle East. The device also includes the Garmin Adventurous Routing™ option to ensure routes include most mountains, curves, and unpaved roads. North and South America, Australia, and New Zealand can be downloaded for free via garmin.com/express.

SATELLITE IMAGERY
Download high-resolution BirdsEye satellite imagery directly to the GPS via Wi-Fi. A yearly subscription is not required.

ABC SENSORS
To help you navigate even in challenging terrain, sensors such as an altimeter, barometer, compass, and longitudinal and lateral tilt indicators are integrated into the device.

SECURE MOUNTING
With the included mount featuring a magnetic lock and the tube mount, the Tread GPS is securely attached to your powersport vehicle, allowing you to ride through rough terrain.

GROUP RIDE MOBILE
Pair the device with the Tread app to locate your friends using the Group Ride Mobile feature via your smartphone.

USER-FRIENDLY ROUTE PLANNER
Easily plan routes with the Tread app using the same maps, vehicle profiles, and route preferences as on the Tread device.

EASY DEVICE SYNCHRONIZATION
Use the Tread app to synchronize waypoints, tracks, routes, and collections across multiple devices, including mobile devices, computers, and the Tread GPS. Importing and sharing GPX files is also straightforward.

LIVE WEATHER DATA
Is bad weather forecasted for your route? Pair the Tread device with your compatible smartphone and download the Tread app to access live weather data, storm alerts, animated radar images, and more.

CONTROL OF ACCESSORIES
Pair the Tread with the compatible digital Garmin PowerSwitch™ control box (sold separately) to enable display controls for your vehicle's 12-volt devices, such as light bars, differential locks, and more.

PERFECT DOG TRACKING
Wirelessly pair the Tread with certain Garmin GPS dog tracking devices (sold separately) so you can locate and retrieve your sporting dogs in the field. You will see markers for each dog within tracking range, with the information overlaid directly on the map screen of the GPS.

MUSIC FOR THE RIDE
With an integrated media player, you can easily play music stored on your compatible smartphone and control it through the GPS display. Audio output is through your helmet or headset (sold separately) using Bluetooth technology.

Points of Interest
The Tread comes pre-installed with iOverlander™ POIs (Points of Interest) so you don't need a cellular signal to find your way to well-known, remote, and hard-to-find campsites.
