The contact area is noticeably larger compared to the original part. Your boot will no longer step into thin air.

The extension is 4 mm higher and 16 mm wider than the original.

The extension is made from 2mm thick electropolished stainless steel, making it nearly indestructible. It can be easily and straightforwardly mounted on the existing attachment points.
