The Concept
The extensive experience of the renowned clothing manufacturer was the ideal basis for implementing our ideas. Together, the requirements for the Compañero World2 were defined. It was crucial to ensure maximum ventilation of the suit in high temperatures and physical exertion. On the other hand, absolute wind and waterproofing were required in adverse weather conditions. Of course, the passive safety of the rider was also at the top of the list. Aspects such as perfect adjustment through width regulation, variable cuffs, zippers, etc., can be considered standard in the cooperation of two competent partners like Touratech and Stadler. If you want to summarize the basic concept of the Touratech suit in a simple formula, it is: 3 in 1.

With the Compañero World2, we meet the strict French ministerial decree regarding reflective areas (min. 150 cm²) on motorcycle clothing!
The retention of the connection zipper sizes from Compañero Worldwide and Boreal allows for free combination with these jackets and pants.

The use of CORDURA® Air on the front and back of the jacket and on the pant legs ensures a large airflow. With its values regarding tear and abrasion resistance, this comfortable synthetic fiber is up to date. Nevertheless, there are reinforcements with CORDURA® 2000 in the areas at risk of falling. The number 2000 indicates a particularly robust yarn thickness. The complete equipment of the Touratech Compañero World2 with tested protectors is exemplary. Passive safety through good visibility is ensured by the large reflective inserts. The jacket and pants can be combined into a suit when needed, thanks to a long connection zipper. In addition to these hard facts, the Touratech Compañero World2 offers countless details that make it a comfortable and practical companion on both long and short tours. Two large outer pockets on the front hold all the items that need to be accessible at any time while on the road. The smartphone finds its place on the forearm. Valuables can be safely stored in the spacious inner pockets.
A detachable backpack provides space for the laminate suit or a hydration system. A special buttonhole allows for the attachment of a drinking tube holder.
Thanks to the generous Velcro adjusters, the fit of the jacket can be ideally adjusted.
The diagonal openings of the cargo pockets on the pants allow for comfortable access to the pockets even while sitting.

For cooler days or even rain, the second layer of the Touratech Compañero World2 comes into play: the laminate suit. Perfectly adapted to the cut of the summer suit, it is simply pulled over the top.
Clever is the one who empties their pockets beforehand and stores the items in the pockets of the overjacket. These are spacious, easily accessible, and - of course - waterproof. Touratech has chosen GORE-TEX® 3-layer laminate (CORDURA®) as the material. In this textile composite material, the inner lining, climate membrane, and robust outer fabric are welded into a single unit. This means: the laminate does not add bulk, does not create bulges, and always fits snugly. The most important feature of the over-suit is, of course, its wind and waterproofing. And since GORE-TEX® 3-layer laminate (CORDURA®) is a functional material, the suit is, of course, fully breathable. The clever aspect of the Touratech Compañero World2 is that the wind and waterproof membrane forms the outer layer of the clothing system. The airy summer suit conserves an air cushion inside and thus becomes a thermal lining. An additional insulating layer, such as fleece underwear, will only be needed in extremely low temperatures. In winter conditions, you will also appreciate the optional storm collar. When wearing the laminate suit in uncertain weather conditions during the transitional season, well-sealable ventilation zippers provide cooling when needed.
Thanks to modern high-tech materials, the rain suit is 10% lighter and more compact than its predecessor.
Two AquaSeal zippers on the front and a long zipper on the back ensure ideal ventilation and thus the best wearing comfort.
Extra-long zippers on the outer sides of the legs allow for easier putting on and taking off, even with boots. The 2-way zipper can also be used as an access point to the pockets of the summer pants.

The backpack developed exclusively for the Compañero World2 offers enough space to store the All Weather jacket and pants. Alternatively, it can also hold hydration bladders or other useful items.
The backpack can be permanently and securely attached to the jacket via a zipper. If it becomes too heavy, it can simply be carried with the straps in the classic backpack manner. It can also be attached to our ZEGA aluminum cases using its compression straps. Last but not least, it can also be used as a regular leisure backpack. All in all: a true multi-talent!
