Carbon rear fender protection with ESA for BMW K25 R1200GS 2004-2012

The rear wheel cover designed for maximum splash protection for the R 1200 GS models with luggage rack and ESA suspension is bolted to the vehicle's cardan housing using the supplied screws. This bolting method is so ingenious and simple that it has been confirmed and protected by the German Patent Office. The length of the rear wheel cover has been chosen so that not only is the dirt on the motorcycle significantly reduced, but your shock absorber will also benefit from the relief from stone chips, dirt, and "sandblasting." In particular, the lifespan of the seals and piston rod of the shock absorber is significantly increased by the installation of an efficient rear wheel cover.
Included in the delivery is a special clamp kit for the original GS luggage rack.

The special design of the rear wheel cover significantly reduces the contamination of the motorcycle by the rear wheel. The specific shape of the cover is model-specific, taking into account standard suspension or tire variants. The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.

The clamps included for the luggage rack system must be installed to create enough clearance for the rear wheel cover when the suspension compresses.
