The beautifully designed rear wheel cover for the BMW models R 1200 R (LC) from 2015 and R 1200 RS (LC) from 2015 is attached to the vehicle's cardan housing using 3 screws. This fastening is so ingenious and simple that it has been confirmed and protected by the German Patent Office.

This cover fits the R and RS (LC) models up to the production year 12/2017.
The special design of the rear wheel cover significantly reduces the contamination of the motorcycle by the rear wheel. The shape of the cover is designed to accommodate standard chassis or tire variants.
The carbon part is made entirely from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and, as is customary with us, is coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
