The inner cover on the right in carbon replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave from prepreg (see FAQ) material and, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
