The inner cover on the left in carbon replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured in the autoclave according to the latest guidelines from prepreg material (see FAQ) and, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
