Carbon front exhaust heat shield cover inlet pipe exhaust for BMW K1200S K1200R + Sport

The front exhaust heat shield in carbon for the BMW K 1200 S (2005-2008) / K 1200 R Sport (2007-2011) /

K 1300 R (2008-current) is made from a special high-temperature resistant prepreg carbon material

using a special autoclave manufacturing process to keep the discoloration of the carbon fabric

as minimal as possible under extreme heat exposure.

This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness.

The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in the autoclave

and, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability significantly. But not only technically does
the coating excel, it also clearly emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
