Carbon Side Fairing Left for BMW K1200S

The carbon fairing side panel for the BMW K 1200 S replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original part) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured in an autoclave from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines, and in the next step, as is customary for us, it has been coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
