The carbon oil catch pan for the Ducati 1199 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part is manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and, as is customary for us, is coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences in the next step.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
