Thanks to a cleverly chosen design, the handguards do not appear significantly larger than the original part and integrate perfectly into the overall look of the R 1200 GS.

The carbon handguards for the BMW F 800 GS Adventure (2013-present) / R 1200 GS (LC) (2013-present) / R 1200 GS Adventure (LC) (2013-present) replace the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original part) and increased stiffness. The carbon part is manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and, as is customary for us, is coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences in the next step.
This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. Not only does the coating excel technically, but it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
