The heel protectors in carbon for the BMW K 1200 S (2005-2008) / K 1200 R (2005-2008) / K 1200 R Sport (2007-2011) / K 1300 S (2008-current) / K 1300 R (2008-current) models enhance the vehicle and provide additional protection against damage. The installation of the parts is done using the included adhesive. The carbon part is manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and, as is customary with us, is coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
