Carbon Exhaust Heat Shield for BMW R1200R LC R1200RS LC

The front exhaust heat shield is made from a special high-temperature resistant prepreg carbon material using a unique autoclave manufacturing process to minimize discoloration of the carbon fabric under extreme heat exposure. This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in the autoclave and, as is customary with us, has been coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. Not only does the coating excel technically, but it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
