Carbon Exhaust Heat Shield Set for BMW F 800 GT

For the production of parts that are mounted near the exhaust,

we use a very special high-temperature prepreg material to keep discoloration and

burn-off of the carbon as low as possible from today’s technical perspective.

This exhaust heat shield for the BMW F 800 GT (2012-current) replaces
the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and higher stiffness.
The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg (see FAQ)
material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, is coated with a
clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences in the next step. This plastic coating exceeds the usual
clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability significantly. But not only technically does
the coating score points, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
