Carbon Exhaust Heat Shield Exhaust Cover for BMW R nineT Urban G/S

This exhaust heat shield for the BMW R nineT Urban GS from 2016 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original part) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured in the autoclave from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.

For the production of parts that are mounted near the exhaust, we use a very special high-temperature prepreg material to keep discoloration and burning of the carbon to a minimum.
