Carbon Exhaust Heat Shield Cover for BMW R nineT Scrambler '16

The exhaust heat shield (2-piece) in carbon for the BMW R NineT Scrambler replaces the original component using the original mounting points.
Our exhaust heat shield weighs only about 40g. The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness.

For these thermally highly stressed parts, we use special high-temperature prepreg material (see FAQ) to avoid discoloration and yellowing.

The carbon part is completely made from prepreg (see FAQ) material in the autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, is coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
