The cover for the ESA box for the BMW R 1250 GS 2019 replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The cover for the ESA box is exclusively suitable for the model year 2019. A comparable protective effect can be achieved by combining the carbon parts 1004-RHL.028.GS19T.K and 1004-RHR.029.GS19T.K together with the rear fender.
The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness.
The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
