Carbon Cover ESA Box Splash Guard Shock Absorber for BMW R1200GS LC from 2017

The cover for the ESA box for the BMW R 1200 GS (LC) from model year 2017 replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg material (see FAQ) in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating in the next step to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
