The cockpit cover in carbon replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and increased stiffness. The carbon part was manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and, as is customary for us, was subsequently coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
