The focus is on weight savings (typically a reduction of about 70% compared to the original component) and higher stiffness. The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg material (see FAQ) according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave and, as is customary with us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly outperforms the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also highlights the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
