Carbon Belt Cover Under the Swingarm for Buell 1125 R / CR

The belt cover under the swingarm in carbon for the Buell 1125 R/CR replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% savings compared to the original part) and increased stiffness. The carbon part has been manufactured according to the latest guidelines in an autoclave completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and, as is customary for us, has been coated with a clear plastic layer in the next step to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But not only does the coating excel technically, it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure even more clearly.
