The filters are made from a single rubber frame to prevent any breakage.

The filtering element is made from a special cotton fabric (4 layers), soaked in a low-tack oil.

It is encased in an aluminum mesh that is treated with an epoxy solution to be resistant to gasoline vapors and oxidation.

Additionally, the cotton has the advantage of being washable and reusable.

Due to these features, the BMC sport air filters (replacement air filters) guarantee a higher airflow compared to the original paper filters, a minimal pressure drop of the incoming air, and thus lead to better engine performance.
