This product is a newly developed silencer made of titanium with an embossed surface that provides additional strength and durability. It achieves a weight reduction of 32% (1.3 kg) compared to the stock system. The engineers focused on delivering a deep sound, improved responsiveness, and appealing aesthetics during the development. The silencer consists of a high-quality titanium outer sleeve, a carbon end cap, and stainless steel connecting pipes. The internal structure of the silencer and a stainless steel heat shield complete the design. Compared to a stock exhaust system, a power increase of 0.3 kW (0.4 hp) at 8,750 rpm and a torque increase of 0.3 Nm at 5,000 rpm were measured on the Akrapovič test bench. Plug-and-play installation means that no re-mapping is required. The system meets the Euro5+ EU/ECE type approval, which will be applicable from 2024. The previous regulation, Euro5, was valid until December 31, 2023.
For an additional upgrade of the Slip-On Line (Titanium), a heat shield made of carbon is available as an optional accessory, as well as a header for riders who desire more power and racing sound. Installing the header will void the EU/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium).
