Akrapovic Slip-On Exhaust for BMW R 12 nineT / R 12

This exhaust system in neo-retro design features black-coated, conical dual end silencers made of high-quality stainless steel and a lightweight connecting pipe made of titanium. The design and lines of the exhaust system have been specifically developed to seamlessly integrate into the appearance of the motorcycle. The system is equipped with a sandblasted stainless steel heat shield that protects the rider's gear, as well as a laser-engraved Akrapovič logo on the silencer, providing an elegant and refined look. During the development phase, the engineers focused on responsiveness and handling. Compared to a BMW R 12 nineT with a standard system, tested on the in-house dynamometer, the performance was increased by 0.9 kW (1.2 hp) and the torque by 1.6 Nm, both at 6,200 rpm. The Slip-On Line (SS) not only offers a deep and sporty sound that meets the type approval for an EC/ECE certificate but also allows for a weight reduction of 10.6% compared to the stock system. Additionally, it is a plug-and-play installation that requires no mapping. This exhaust system is also compatible with the standard version of the BMW R 12.
