Then, the spring-loaded locking wings are compressed to securely and tangibly snap into place. The mount can now be locked using the integrated locking cylinder. The mount is designed so that the device can be turned on and off while secured in the locked mount. When using only the original BMW basic mount, the Navigator IV, V, and VI are not sufficiently protected against vibrations that occur specifically on motorcycles.
