It has a volume of approximately 26 liters. The additional weight from the extra tank volume when full is compensated by a weight saving of 3 kg in the kit itself. And if you're not going on a long journey, you save valuable kilos at the highest point of the motorcycle. The tank can only be installed with the carbon side parts included in the set. These also save valuable kilos and look great! Not only technically, but also visually, it can utilize its full potential. To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fiber layers are laid and aligned by experts into the mold. This allows the carbon part to fit perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts are installed and combined, the more overwhelming the result. For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, laminated by hand with great care and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its exceptional technical properties. It has three times the specific stiffness of steel at the same volume and, due to its particularly low density, only a fraction of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fiber volume content. To optimally protect this high-quality material from environmental influences of all kinds, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with our clear coat, provides an unprecedented and unique depth effect that highlights the high quality of the material.
