Accossato is an Italian brand known from the Superbike, Moto 2, Moto 3, and AMA championships. Spare parts from this brand are correspondingly high quality. Many well-known manufacturers therefore have their products made by Accossato. The brand has, for example, a 20-year collaboration with Aprilia.

The final drive housing cover for the BMW R 1200 GS (2004-2012) / HP 2 Megamoto (2008-2013) / HP 2 Sport (2008-2012) / R 1200 S (2006-2008) / R 1200 R (2007-2014) not only looks top-notch, but it also protects the exposed areas of your final drive housing from damage and stone chips. This product enhances the vehicle and provides additional protection against damage. The installation of the parts is done using the included adhesive strips. The carbon part has been completely manufactured from prepreg material (see FAQ) in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, as is customary with us, has been coated with a clear plastic layer for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. Not only does the coating excel technically, but it also emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. Please note that the final drive housing cover cannot be used in conjunction with the original rear fender on the models BMW R 1200 GS (2004-2012) / HP 2 Megamoto (2008-2013) / HP 2 Sport (2008-2012) / R 1200 S (2006-2008) / R 1200 R (2007-2014), as the upper mounting hole of the fender is covered by the final drive housing cover. If the fender is to be used, a small part of the final drive housing cover must be cut out.
