The front and rear wheels of the new Battlax BT 016 Pro feature the well-known Bridgestone Multi-Layer Compound technologies.

Each wheel is constructed with two different rubber compounds using the 3LC (Three Layer Compound) process:

The compound in the center of the tread ensures good braking force transfer at the front wheel and high traction and mileage at the rear wheel, while the rubber compound on the tire shoulder is responsible for maximum grip in lean angles.

The rubber compounds used in the BT 016 Pro have been completely newly developed, providing the BT 016 Pro with further improved wet grip while also increasing mileage.

The technologies "Silica Rich EX" (increased silica content in the compound) and "RC Polymer" are employed. "RC Polymer" supports the silica effect and simultaneously controls the temperature-dependent change of the rubber compound.

The construction of the front and rear wheels is based on Bridgestone's proven HTSPC platform (High Tensile Super Penetrated Cord) with MSB steel belt (Mono Spiral Belt).

Thanks to this construction, controlling slides and maintaining line stability in corners is optimized without sacrificing good shock absorption.

The increased stiffness of the construction helps maintain a consistent contact patch and stability at high speeds. The profile of the Battlax BT 016 Pro remains unchanged compared to the BT 016.
